It all started in 2012 when founder Marcus Webb fired up a backyard grill in West Chicago with one mission: to create wings so good people would drive across town just to taste them. Word spread fast. Friends became regulars. Regulars became family. And a movement was born.

From a backyard grill to a community landmark — here's how Wing Snob grew into what it is today.

2012

The Backyard Beginning

Marcus Webb fires up his grill in West Chicago and begins experimenting with wing sauces. Friends and neighbors quickly become regulars, and the demand for "those wings" becomes impossible to ignore.

2014

Wing Snob Opens Its Doors

The first official Wing Snob location opens at 200 W North Ave, West Chicago. Opening week sees a line around the block and a sellout within hours. The wing snob legend begins.

2016

The Sauce Lab Launches

Chef Danielle Torres joins the team and establishes Wing Snob's dedicated Sauce Lab — a creative kitchen focused entirely on developing new, exciting flavors. The menu grows to 40+ signature sauces.

2018

Community & Catering Program

Wing Snob launches its catering division and community outreach program, partnering with local schools, charities, and events. Over 500 community events catered in the first year alone.

2020

Online Ordering & Delivery

Wing Snob adapts and launches its full online ordering and delivery platform, bringing the wingsnob experience directly to your door. Customer satisfaction scores reach an all-time high of 4.9/5.

2023

Half a Million Wings Served

Wing Snob celebrates serving its 500,000th wing — a milestone marked with a week-long community celebration, new menu additions, and a thank-you to every customer who made it possible.
